The
Secret of how to Write an Interview Grabbing Resume!
Point 1:
The first ten to twenty words must be an attention getting statement,
rather like a long newspaper headline.
Point 2:
You must use all the “personal quality” words
contained in the potential employer’s ad.
Ad Example:
JOB OPPORTUNITY GENERAL MANAGER XYZ & JONES INTERACTIVE MEDIA.
"Xyz-Jones Communications is seeking an aggressive, self-motivated and
enthusiastic manager to lead our interactive media division. The
candidate must have solid online management experience and a desire to
grow revenue and enhance the online offerings of a growing
communications company. This position is responsible for a team of online professionals who

statements that use words or phrases such as: self-motivated,
solid management, aggressive,
extensive
experience etc straight out of the ad above.
Resume Example: John Jones is an assertive and solid manager with extensive online experience
and a history of managing successful and professional teams.
Resume Example: Past positions and references bear testimony to
John’s tenacity and his desire to aggressively seek
personal and business success.
Resume Example: As a motivated

NB: Resumes should be written as if a third party or consultant has
written them for you… it gives them an air of credibility.
